Our summer series is geared toward teaching printmaking in the classroom! From 5:30 — 8:00 p.m. we will show several different ways to approach 4 printmaking styles. You will learn from four local printmakers throughout the duration of the series.

This wood block workshop is taught by Artspace’s Education Director, Alexa Goetzinger! This workshop kicks off our Steamroller Festival open studio Saturdays. With this discounted rate of $40 you will learn the art of woodblock printing while carving and printing your own small wood block in a manageable three hours! If you can complete this workshop, there’s no doubt you can do the Steamroller Festival too! All supplies will be provided - just come with a drawn image (or one in mind) that you’d want to print with your block!
Artspace is excited to host its first ever Mentorship Program Summer Project from Monday, June 18th to Saturday, June 23rd for its 2017-2018 Mentorship students! Join us on Saturday, June 23rd from 3-6pm for our free unveiling party in our garden where you can meet the students and volunteer artists, enjoy food and drinks, and view the sculptures for the first time.
