Artspace at Untitled is partnering with the OK Film Society in the first annual Oklahoma Film Fest in December! As part of the three-day event, we will be screening the local anthology film “Mono” on Saturday, December 15th at 2:30 PM. The film tells the story of one day in the life of the female protagonist Molly in five sections. Each section is unique, directed by a different local filmmaker. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us on Thursday, December 12th, from 6-7:30 PM for a night of inspiring conversations with Jeff Krisman! Jeff Krisman has been interviewing artists and those in the local community on his podcast for almost two years. These conversations are an "opportunity for him to hear their stories, life journeys and lessons learned along the way, and their visions for the future."

Throughout the evening we’ll hear from singer/songwriter Darren Cipponeri and longtime artist Mark Gilmore. Stay tuned to find out more about the evening and our third guest!

Join us on Saturday, November 17th, from 1-4 PM for a holiday card making workshop! Carve your own woodblock image for the front of your set of cards while learning the art of the letterpress as you print a festive message on the inside. Come and get in the holiday spirit with us at Artspace at Untitled as we celebrate the season of giving and cherishing those we love! This class is open to all ages and all skill levels. 

On November 15th, Inspiring Conversations with Jeff Krisman will be back at Artspace from 6-7:30 PM! Throughout the evening we’ll hear from Tom Spanier, an artist and partner of Around Town Art LLC, Topher Owen, the Creative Director of the The Space Improv group and the BRD Jazz Trio. Throughout the evening guests will be entertained with Topher Owen’s comedy troupe, listen to music from our featured musicians and have the opportunity to submit questions throughout the interviews. We look forward to this open dialogue and interesting conversations!

Community Spirit is back with our Artist in Residence Allie D. Caesar on Thursday, November 8th, from 5-7 PM! This come and go event offers the chance to see the workings of the letterpress machine with demos throughout the evening. Attendees will have the opportunity to print a takeaway on our letterpress machine! Come and hear Allie Caesar’s artistic process while enjoying a glass of wine or beer.

Join us on Saturday, November 3rd, from 1-4 PM for a silk scarf marbling workshop with Adrienne Day! Produce patterns like smooth marble or other kinds of stone on wearable scarves. Participants will have the opportunity to produce two pieces: a small square scarf and a longer rectangular scarf.

Our short film program is back on Thursday, November 1st from 6:00-7:30pm! Join in the conversation as we screen shorts in collaboration with Alex Palmer, from the Oklahoma Film Society. All shorts will contain sound but no dialogue from the characters. This alternative approach to film will certainly evoke a night of interpretation, interesting conversation and dialogue.

Join us from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on October, 31st as we celebrate the public opening for the Exquisite Corpse Exhibition with all of the contributing artists! Come and enjoy all of the unique pieces on the gallery walls while munching on light snacks and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us on October 26th for the Exquisite Corpse All Hallow's Eve Celebration and Auction! You will be immersed in a ghostly, out of this world celebration that includes art, music, food, drink, games, auctions, and much more! This event not only celebrates the Exquisite Corpse exhibition of 60 local artists, but is also Artspace’s fundraising event so we can keep providing Oklahoma students with educational opportunities, the community with quality exhibitions and a space for artists to come and create.

Join us on Saturday, October 20th, from 1-4 PM, and learn all about experimental monoprinting with PRESS member Mycah Higley! Come and learn the process of jelly plate and collagraph printing and how to experiment with these methods to create multi-layered colorful images with water-soluble ink.

On Thursday, October 18th, from 6:00-7:30 we will be screening "Berlin" an Art 21 film documenting Icelandic Danish artist Olafur Eliasson's: "Reality Projector" installation for the Marciano Art Foundation in Los Angeles. This film dives into how a seemingly simple installation that utilizes projected light and an existing space, can evolve to create a complex, dynamic massive movement of color.

Thursday, October 11th, from 5:00-8:00 PM we will be hosting the One Thousand Tears closing reception! Come and celebrate this wonderful exhibition and enjoy light refreshments as we prepare to send off an amazing show. Many of the works are still available for purchase and at the beginning of the evening the tears from the Essence of the Heart installation will go on sale. We look forward to seeing you there!

On September 29th, from 1 - 5 PM, Artspace and Mark Gilmore will be co-hosting an Artist Swap Meet outside in our garden! Setup begins at noon. Free and open to the public, all are welcome to come trade or sell your unused art supplies with other artists in the OKC Community.  Clean out your studio by bringing brushes, scissors, charcoal, pencils, paper, paints, frames, easels, etc to giveaway, trade or sell. Artspace at Untitled will also be accepting art supply donations for our OKC high school student Mentorship Program. There are no fees for this event and open to all materials. 

Our short film program is back on Thursday, September 27th, from 6-8 PM with a night of short film screening about modern love! Join in the conversation as we screen three shorts from three different parts of the globe: Mexico, the United States and UK. While the films range in length, style and one in animation, all surround themselves around the interpretation and meaning of love and how it presents itself in differing forms across the world.

On September 22, 2018, PRESS member Virginia Sitzes will be hosting at watercolor screen printing workshop in our studio. During this half-day workshop participants will create multicolored images by putting a twist on traditional printmaking methods! Students will substitute printmaking ink for watercolor palettes mixed with transparent base. By pushing the watercolor through a stencil, colors will combine, creating a range of tones and hues. For 14 yrs & Up.

Artspace is teaming up with the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition Saturday, September 15th, from 1-4 PM to host an Artist Survival Kit Workshop! For $15, come and get your portfolio in top shape with a fresh artist statement, refined resume, and instructions on how to take quality images of your work. This event is perfect for early emerging artists or anyone looking to freshen up their portfolio. The workshop is led by Kelsey Karber. We look forward to seeing you there!

On Thursday night Jeff will be bringing his podcast live to Artspace at Untitled, interviewing Christian Pearson, CEO and co-founder of OkSessions as well as Dr. Daniela Busciglio, a professor of applied linguistics and a Communications Strategist. Come and listen to the process and passions of these two community influencers while jazz pianist Adam Ledbetter entertains!

Join us on on Saturday, September 8th from 10am - 5pm for an all-day workshop with our exhibiting Santa-Fe artist Janet O'Neal. This mixed media printmaking workshop will explore the process of combining digital inkjet transfers and traditional printmaking techniques. Everyone will get to take home their own unique print!

Join us for the Opening Reception of One Thousand Tears, by Janet O'Neal, on Thursday, September 6th from 5-8 PM! O’Neal is a 32 year veteran of the Santa Fe and Oklahoma City art scene. She is transitioning from commercial work to conceptual multimedia work. In this exhibition, O’Neal extends her “Transformation” series about her brother’s life and death, while exploring universal themes of grief, loss, and the healing process.
