Spring is here, and so is papermaking in Joe’s garden! Join us and ARTSPACE at Untitled Press Member, Emma Difani on Saturday, April 13th for a workshop learning how to create your own unique paper. If there is rain, the workshop will take place the following Saturday, April 20th. Learn about different types of paper and how they can be used for varying art processes. Emma will demonstrate how to break down the recycled materials into a dilute suspension consisting mostly of separate cellulose fibers. The water will then be drained through a sieve-like screen, producing a mat of randomly interwoven fibers. Emma Difani will help you create your own unique paper from found and recycled materials - reintroducing this delicate and beautiful craft!
