Please join artist Rick Sinnett, aka “Mothman,” as he teaches screen printing basics, discusses home-friendly print kits, and prints an original 2-color screen print.

Participants will learn the process of burning screens using an exposure unit, hand-pulling prints on paper, and basic studio procedures to produce a screenprint.

Please join Rick Sinnett, aka “Mothman,” as he creates an original work of art featuring the Monarch butterfly and the Oklahoma State wildflower, Gaillardia Pulchella (commonly known as Indian Paintbrush or Firewheel).

Learn the process of burning a screen in our darkroom on the Nu-Arc exposure unit, and then see how to produce a vibrant two-color serigraph. Time: 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Each participant will leave with an original Rick Sinnett print.

Come early at 9:00 AM for coffee and pastries.
